Amy Smart, an American actress and former model. Amy Smart was born and was raised in California, United States of America. Amy Smart began the modeling profession in Italy. Her Costly Affair, a 1996 TV film that she played her first part in, was her debut part. It was a struggle to land the role she wanted for her in Starship Troopers. She struggled with the transition to acting as actors were never considered an actor, so they usually got small roles. However, Amy did not give up and transitioned to bigger roles eventually starting with the show The 70s and the film Varsity Blues. After a few years Amy made the jump into bigger roles. Amy was in the 2005 romance film Just Friends alongside Ryan Reynolds. Amy found her recognition after more than ten years of trying. Then she continued to appear in several of the most famous movies, including the Crank series starring Jason Statham as well as Shameless in which she played an enduring character.
